VALUE ADDED: Improved profitability through increased site density by adding 16 townhouses to final phase of Meadowview. Quality Assurance: Reduced customer service warrantee repair costs through implementation of new quality assurance processes. Used Pareto chart analysis to determine most frequent problems, identified causes for problems, and revised construction practices. Bonus advantage: Enhanced quality control succeeded in avoiding post-construction defect lawsuits (despite the earlier Springfield Village phase of this development incurring problems and a lawsuit.) Team Building: Increased profitability of project through on-time closings by providing incentives to all team players (construction, title, sales, customer service) for success. Outperformed pro forma sales pricing by using unit feature metric analysis, weekly pricing adjustments, and a program of finish selections for early buyers.
