GOAL: Construct newly-acquired already-permitted project to complete ahead of UW Autumn Quarter 2017 start.
ROLE: Owner's Representative
VALUE ADDED: Added bonus and penalty provisions to construction contract to reinforce scheduled completion commitment. Managed timely removal of tenants from existing building to keep demolition on schedule. Coordination with all providers for timely disconnection and hook up of new utility services. Managed design consultants to complete documentation from Permit set to Construction set. Added electrical transformer room vault (not resolved in permit set) to main level. Created Party and Game room in lieu of 3 units facing alley at grade on second level. Chose art, common area furnishings and directed signage design.
